The Schools Forum is a statutory body that provides a channel of communication between the local authority and schools. It serves as a mechanism for consultation on school funding.
It is made up of schools members, non-schools members, and other attendees and observers – including the Cabinet member for Education and officers of the Council.
Schools membership is representative and proportionate to pupil numbers in the relevant sector. Non-school membership includes 16 to 19 and Early Years provision.
The next meeting will be held on 11 January 2023 at 2.30pm. The agenda and supporting papers will be published here by 4 January 2023.
Members of the public are welcome to attend as observers and submit questions to the forum. If you would like to submit a question to the Schools Forum, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org by 4 January 2023.
