Introduction
The Schools Forum is a statutory body that provides a channel of communication between the local authority and schools. It serves as a mechanism for consultation on school funding.
It is made up of schools members, non-schools members, and other attendees and observers – including the Cabinet member for Education and officers of the Council.
Schools membership is representative and proportionate to pupil numbers in the relevant sector. Non-school membership includes 16 to 19 and Early Years provision.

Meetings will be held on the following dates:

All meetings take place remotely using Microsoft teams, and unless otherwise stated begin at 2.30pm. Non-members are welcome to attend these meetings as observers. If you would like to attend, please contact schoolsforum@somerset.gov.uk by no later than 2 days before the meeting.
